Meghan Markle celebrated her daughter, Princess Lilibet's, 5th birthday by releasing never-before-seen family photos.

Princess Lilibet turned 5 on June 4, and to celebrate the occasion, her mother, Meghan Markle, shared a touching message for her daughter on Instagram.

In the first image of the two-slide series, Prince Harry holds Lilibet in his arms, while Meghan, embracing her husband, gazes lovingly at her daughter. In both images, Lilibet's red hair takes center stage, while in the second, barefoot Lilibet, wearing a summer dress, admires the vibrant flowers, likely on the grounds of the family home in Montecito, California.

Lilibet Diana—whose name honors the family nickname of her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth and the name of her grandmother, Princess Diana—was born in Santa Barbara, California, on June 4, 2021, along with her parents and older brother, Prince Archie, who was 2 years old at the time.

At the time of their daughter's birth, Harry and Meghan said: "We were blessed with the arrival of our daughter Lily on June 4th. She has exceeded all our expectations, and we remain grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers we have received from all over the world.".

Lilibet appeared on the front page of Meghan's lifestyle brand, As Ever. "The opportunity to have my own little girl, having dedicated so much of my life to advocating for girls and women, and being able to see this as a multi-generational story—Archie, of course, too, my husband, of course, too—but I love the sense of legacy, and knowing I can create that in front of my daughter and teach her what it's like to be a working mom," Meghan told the publication.
