It&#039;s not your marriage,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Tan France makes a provocative statement about mass weddings.<\/p>\n<p> In the second part of his appearance on the iHeartRadio podcast,\u00ab <em>Work in Progress with Sophia Bush&quot;\u00bb<\/em> , the episode of which aired on Friday, May 29, star <em>show &quot;Queer Eye&quot;\u00ab<\/em> shared his bold opinion about the wedding. <\/p>\n<p> The topic of weddings came up early in the episode, when France and host Sophia Bush, both 43, shared their thoughts on a wedding post on the Reddit forum &quot;Am I the A\u2014\u2014,&quot; where users anonymously ask for their opinions and judges on various conflicting topics. He understands why people impose dress codes at weddings, sharing, &quot;You want your photos to be aesthetically pleasing or to match your preferences. You&#039;re going to post them on social media, so I understand that you want to create a certain atmosphere. I get that.&quot; However, he also acknowledged that no one should be forced to &quot;pretend to be someone else on the day.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;I think it&#039;s really rude to tell your friend, &#039;Hey, bitch, I&#039;m happy with who you are the rest of your life, but today I want you to be a different person to make me happy,&#039;&quot; he said. &quot;Doesn&#039;t that seem a little rude?&quot;\u201e<\/p>\n<p> Bush also saw both sides of the situation. She noted, &quot;If there&#039;s one day in your life that&#039;s dedicated to you, it should be your wedding,&quot; but also argued that it&#039;s unfair for the bride to skip the &quot;pre-wedding conversation&quot; and expect her friend to do something that makes her feel &quot;uncomfortable.&quot;. <\/p>\n<p> The conversation evolved into a broader critique of modern wedding culture. France declared that &quot;weddings drive people crazy,&quot; arguing that the visual images created by social media can overshadow the feelings of friends and completely miss the point of weddings.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;Here&#039;s what I want to say, and this will hurt a lot of you who&#039;ve done this. I think we put our own feelings above our friends&#039; feelings, or our own ideas about atmosphere and aesthetics above our friends&#039; true emotions,&quot; said France, who married Rob in 2007. She emphasized, &quot;I think we care too much about aesthetics.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> Bush, who was previously married to ex-husband Grant Hughes, agreed that wedding aesthetics have gotten out of hand.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;Sometimes you get so caught up in that aspect that it crowds out what&#039;s truly important,&quot; she shared. &quot;And I&#039;ll be honest, I&#039;ll be upfront and say that this is my personal experience. Looking back, I realize we were so focused on the project that we didn&#039;t notice that the core idea, so to speak, was missing. That&#039;s the kindest way to put it. I know it&#039;s not true.
