A small shift in sand could make a big difference for more than 100 future sea turtles in South Carolina.<\/p>\n
Volunteers relocated a sea bream nest and eggs to Myrtle Beach on Sunday, WBTW reported.<\/p>\n
Rescue crews moved the eggs away from the 64th Avenue North area to a quieter section of shoreline so the nest would be less likely to be disturbed and the animals would have a better chance of hatching.<\/p>\n

The nesting season, which runs from May to October, often combines public education and practical conservation efforts, as sea turtle nests on southern beaches can be vulnerable to foot traffic, artificial lighting, and obstructions left in the sand.<\/p>\n
