That room had seen so much, and now we were moving on to a new adventure, a new chapter in our family&#039;s life,&quot; she continued.<\/p>\n<p> In October, Dreyer posted a nostalgic Instagram post of her childhood bedroom through the years.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;This room holds so many memories, and I thank God every day for each one,&quot; she wrote in the caption. &quot;And the boys have a whole life of love and dreams ahead of them! The meteorologist filed for divorce from Fichera in March, eight months after announcing their separation in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;For many years, I&#039;ve shared with you all my family\u2014the joys, the challenges, the joys, the blessings, and the wonderful memories in between,&quot; she wrote. &quot;I&#039;m incredibly grateful for the support and love you&#039;ve shown me throughout this time. Photo: Dylan Dreyer\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;We started out as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends,&quot; she continued. &quot;And most importantly, we will continue to raise our three wonderful sons together, with nothing but love and respect for each other.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> In November, during his speech at <em>program Today with Jenna &amp; Friends<\/em> , Dreyer went into more detail about the split, saying there was something in their relationship that she and Fichera &quot;couldn&#039;t fix.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;We&#039;re not husband and wife anymore, and I don&#039;t blame you for everything that broke down because we&#039;ve come to terms with it,&quot; she explained. &quot;So we broke up. Let&#039;s move on as friends now.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;And I&#039;m no longer angry about the things I used to be angry about, because, like with a friend, you&#039;re more forgiving of them when you&#039;re not married to them.
