She wrote on Instagram: \u00abI\u2019ve always dreamed of writing songs for these characters, who I\u2019ve adored since I was five years old when I watched the first movie.\u201d <em>\u00abToy Story<\/em> \u00bb&quot;And on the night of its release, she posted a video of herself as a child dressed as Jessie, who inspired her song &quot;I Knew It, I Knew You.&quot; Though Disney billed the song as a return to Swift&#039;s country roots, the arrangement truly fits that genre, though her vocals are distinctly modern\u2014the result is a track that &quot;felt like a musical retreat and a homecoming at the same time,&quot; as she captioned her cowgirl-style video. &quot;Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge, and at the same time, it felt like a natural fit.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Role Model, Great Expectations 3000<\/strong> \u00bb<\/p>\n<p> This week, Role Model debuted the first snippet of new music since the viral popularity of &quot;Sally&quot; (&quot;Sally, When the Wine Runs Out&quot; became his first Billboard chart hit, eventually reaching No. 1 on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart, thanks in part to a gimmick involving live performances featuring celebrities impersonating Sally each night.) The song &quot;Tastes So Good,&quot; in particular, plays on the title as well as the album&#039;s main theme\u2014love\u2014by describing how deeply he&#039;s in love. &quot;Can&#039;t take another breath without you \/ Can&#039;t walk down the street \/ No, I don&#039;t know what you&#039;re made of \/ But she tastes so good to me.&quot; With a line like that, who needs to see a menu? But his 2023 album, <em>Calico<\/em> , transformed his career, receiving critical acclaim and significantly increasing his fame\u2014so much so that Beyonc\u00e9 invited him.
