Anthony Head has passed away,&quot; Marsters wrote on Instagram. &quot;He was an unfailingly kind and reliable person on set.&quot; <em>\u00abBuffy\u00bb<\/em> , and the best actor in the cast. He was the best of us. I was lucky to know him and learn from him. He made the world a better place just by being there. Thank you, Tony, for all you gave.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> Clare Kramer, who played Glory on the show, also shared a touching tribute.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;RIP, Anthony. It was a pleasure knowing you. It was an honor working with you,&quot; she wrote on Instagram. &quot;Through Giles, you gave us courage without fear and compassion without weakness\u2014an exemplary performance (and one of many). My condolences to your daughters, family, and everyone who had the pleasure of loving you. We will miss him greatly. Condolences to his family.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> Meanwhile, the creator of the series <em>\u00abLittle Britain\u00bb<\/em> Matt Lucas recalled inviting Head to appear on the sketch show.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;I&#039;m very sad to hear of Tony Head&#039;s passing,&quot; Lucas wrote on X. &quot;When we were casting Little Britain, we were looking for the &#039;typical Tony Head&#039; because we never imagined for a second that he himself would be interested, but he did.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> Head&#039;s daughters, Daisy and Emily, confirmed his death in a statement to the Press Association, according to <em>BBC<\/em> \u0438 <em>The Independent<\/em> . &quot;It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our wonderful father,&quot; they said. &quot;He passed away peacefully from complications of pneumonia, surrounded by his family.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> His death came six months after the death of his long-term partner, Sarah Fisher, who died at the age of 61.<\/p>\n<p> They continued: &quot;It was and always will be an honor and privilege to be his daughters and to witness firsthand the impact he and his work had on so many people.&quot; His family added that &quot;his legacy will live on&quot; and said they were fortunate to watch him pursue his passion throughout his career.<\/p>\n<p> Head first rose to fame in the UK in the 1980s as the face of Nescaf\u00e9 television advertisements and later became known for his roles in television series <em>\u00abBuffy the Vampire Slayer\u00bb<\/em> , <em>\u00abTed Lasso\u00bb<\/em> \u0438 <em>\u00abMerlin\u00bb<\/em> .
