Patrick Godfrey, best known for his roles in films \u00abEternal Love: A Cinderella Story\u00bb<\/em> and film adaptations \u00abLes Miserables\u00bb<\/em> 2012, died at the age of 93.<\/p>\n

This was reported by Godfrey's talent agency, Markham Froggatt & Irwin.<\/p>\n

\u00ab"It is with deep sadness that we confirm that Patrick Godfrey passed away last night," the statement read. "He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Paddy was an exceptionally talented actor and a wonderful person, and he will be deeply missed.".<\/p>\n

\u0412 in the 1998 film "Everlasting Love: A Cinderella Story"<\/em> Godfrey played Leonardo da Vinci, starring alongside Drew Barrymore, Anjelica Huston, Dougray Scott, Melanie Lynskey, and Timothy West. He also played Captain Morrell in the film adaptation. \u00abThe Count of Monte Cristo\u00bb<\/em> 2002, as well as Monsieur Gillenormand in the film \u00abLes Miserables\u00bb<\/em> 2012.<\/p>\n

As for other roles, he has starred in films such as \u00ab"Clockwise"\u00bb<\/em> (1986), \u00abA Room with a View\u00bb<\/em> (1986), \u00ab"Maurice"\u00bb<\/em> (1987), \u00abThe Importance of Being Earnest\u00bb<\/em> (2002) and \u00abOliver Twist\u00bb<\/em> (2005). His television credits include \u00abDoctor Who\u00bb<\/em> , \u00abThe Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby\u00bb<\/em> , \u00ab"Catastrophe"\u00bb<\/em> , \u00abZ Cars\u00bb<\/em> , \u00ab"Scenario"\u00bb<\/em> , \u00abBlott on the Landscape\u00bb<\/em> , \u00abDoctor Martin\u00bb<\/em> \u0438 \u00abBramwell\u00bb<\/em> . He also performed on Broadway, playing in \u00abThe Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby\u00bb<\/em> in 1981 and also appeared in West End productions including \u00abAs You Like It\u00bb<\/em> in 2016 and \u00abWitness for the Prosecution\u00bb<\/em> in 2021. Finally, he voiced characters in some video games, including BioShock 2<\/em> (2010), Red Dead Redemption<\/em> (2010) and Red Dead Redemption 2<\/em> (2018).<\/p>\n

Following the news of the actor's death, many condolences were sent to him.<\/p>\n
