The 83-year-old co-host told listeners of the Behind the Table podcast on Tuesday that she would be missing several episodes over the next two weeks as she presented her play, My First Ex-Husband, to a new audience overseas. On the podcast, Behar said, &quot;I&#039;m flying to Paris this week,&quot; explaining her busy schedule.<\/p>\n<h2> Joy Behar announces an extended hiatus from The View, replacing hosts. <\/h2>\n<p> Speaking about her break from The View, Joy Behar said that after Paris, &quot;I&#039;ll be heading to London through the tunnel in a week, and the second week I&#039;ll be in London performing in my play My First Ex-Husband at the Boulevard Theatre in the West End.&quot; She&#039;ll be sharing the stage with comedian Jackie Hoffman. Both play American actresses opposite a pair of British actors, and the play has already enjoyed success in New York, so the London performance is very important to her.<\/p>\n<p> Executive producer Brian Teta used this conversation to determine who would be sitting at the table while Behar was away. He didn&#039;t keep it a secret, announcing that Sheryl Underwood, a regular guest host and former panelist on &quot;The Talk,&quot; would be filling in for two days. Furthermore, journalist Kara Swisher would take her place next week. Meanwhile, Ana Navarro, who usually only appears on Mondays and Fridays, will be adding extra days to her schedule. <\/p>\n<p> Then Teta posted a schedule update that surprised even him a little: Whoopi Goldberg would be working Fridays during Behar&#039;s absence, even though Goldberg usually has Fridays off.
