Today, Freeman turns 89. Although he looked old for most of his life, he&#039;s actually no longer young. His star has hardly dimmed with time, but only shines brighter, remaining a Hollywood legend.<\/p>\n<p> Over decades of acting on the big screen, beginning in the 1970s, Freeman has become a towering figure in cinematic history, playing a variety of roles that showcased his talent and ability to move from supporting actor to the biggest star, and sometimes to something in between.<\/p>\n<p> Freeman&#039;s most unique feature is his velvety voice. Throughout his career, he has been invited to voice numerous documentaries, the most famous of which are <em>\u00ab&quot;March of the Penguins&quot;, &quot;Life on Our Planet&quot;<\/em> \u00bb&quot; And <em>\u00abThe History of God with Morgan Freeman\u00bb<\/em> . The latter film is quite appropriate, as Freeman has actually voiced a higher power in films. <em>\u00abBruce Almighty\u00bb<\/em> \u0438 <em>\u00abEvan Almighty\u00bb<\/em> .<\/p>\n<p> Freeman&#039;s tone and confidence perfectly match how we imagine the voice of a deity, and for a superstar actor, this must be the ultimate compliment. He says that despite his connections to religious figures, he is an agnostic in real life.<\/p>\n<p> Freeman continues to work today, approaching his 90th birthday. His latest film, <em>\u00abNow You See Me\u00bb<\/em> , was released in late 2025. This film also starred <em>Jesse Eisenberg<\/em> \u0438 <em>Woody Harrelson<\/em> .<\/p>\n<p> He won an Oscar for the boxing drama &quot;\u00ab <em>Million Dollar Baby\u00bb<\/em> 2004. This is one of five roles for which he was nominated for an Oscar. Other films for which he was nominated are <em>\u00abInvincible, The Shawshank Redemption, Driving Miss Daisy\u00bb<\/em> \u0438 <em>\u00abStreet Smart\u00bb<\/em> .
