Today, she sent me this condolence note for the loss of my beautiful sister.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> Jamie continued to talk about how the wedding helped her and Kelly get back together.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;My sister and I were very close as children, but there was competition between us for the attention and love of our divorced parents. We were completely different and lived apart for many years, but she came back to be with me at my wedding and never really left again,&quot; she continued. &quot;At one point, when she was unemployed, she worked for me as my sister-aunt and became an integral part of our family.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> Jamie added: &quot;I miss her today, but I take comfort in the thought that she has found peace.&quot;. <\/p>\n<p> Jamie Lee Curtis and Christopher Guest on their wedding day in 1984. In a post published on Saturday, May 30, she revealed that Kelly had died &quot;peacefully&quot; that morning at her home in California. She was 69.<\/p>\n<p> Next to an old photo of Kelly getting her hair done, Jamie wrote, &quot;Warm greetings to my big sister, Kelly Lee Curtis. She passed away this morning. In her home. In nature. In peace and quiet.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;She was my first friend and lifelong confidant,&quot; she continued. &quot;She was stunningly beautiful and a talented actress.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> Jamie also recalled how Kelly &quot;was a skilled Hearts player, collected turtles, loved her family, nature, music, thrift shopping, traveling, Facebook, and Pok\u00e9mon Go.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;She will be remembered for her generosity, her unwavering convictions, her boundless curiosity, her unique style, and her almond-dusted crescent-shaped Christmas cookies, hence her nickname, Auntie Cookie,&quot; she wrote.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;Kelly always ended every message or farewell with a Hungarian blessing...
