The duo says they&#039;re looking forward to spending the entire month together. They also say they can&#039;t believe they&#039;ve known each other for over 50 years.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;We&#039;re like old people!&quot; Springfield says, laughing, about how long they&#039;ve known each other. They met when Springfield performed Hagar&#039;s hit &quot;I&#039;ve Done Everything for You&quot; in the early &#039;80s.<\/p>\n<p> Hagar says that despite being 70 years old, they are still young at heart.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;I think Rick acts like an adult sometimes,&quot; he says. &quot;Not like an old man, but he acts like an adult every now and then. And I rarely do! No shoes, no shirt, no problem, nothing,&quot; he says of wearing nothing but swimsuit when he&#039;s not working. &quot;My wife says, &#039;Honey, please put on a T-shirt, we&#039;re having guests.&#039; I say, &#039;Okay,&#039;&quot;, <em>I&#039;ll try<\/em> \u201cI call swimming trunks my uniform.\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p> Speaking of beach lovers, it&#039;s worth noting that these two aren&#039;t just musical partners; they&#039;re also partners in the production of alcoholic beverages, specifically Beach Bar Rum.<\/p>\n<p> \u00ab&quot;It&#039;s called Sammy&#039;s Beach Bar rum, but Rick calls it Ricky&#039;s Beach Bar rum,&quot; Hagar jokes. &quot;He erases my name from T-shirts and stuff and puts his on it. Basically, it&#039;s what I love to do, and alcohol plays a role in it, it&#039;s completely natural\u2014music, alcohol, and rock &#039;n&#039; roll, it&#039;s always been great.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> He adds: &quot;But I don&#039;t get drunk anymore. No hangovers. I&#039;ve become smarter.
