What did Martin Scorsese say about collaborating with an artificial intelligence company?<\/h2>\n

Scorsese and Black Forest Labs announced the news in a video on the company's website. The director also discussed the potentially controversial move in an interview with The New York Times. Last year, Scorsese also signed a contract with the company as a partner and consultant.<\/p>\n

Black Forest Labs is a research company focused on generative artificial intelligence, known for its FLUX image generation model. The announcement video shows the storyboarding process, with a director describing a scene generated using the FLUX.2 model. The video focuses on the use of AI tools in pre-production for tasks such as concept art and storyboarding.<\/p>\n

Scorsese suggested that the introduction of AI-powered image generation would help reduce pre-production time. "In pre-production, time is money, and this allowed us to move faster without sacrificing quality or craftsmanship," he added.<\/p>\n

It's unclear which of Scorsese's upcoming films will utilize AI technology. At the time of writing, the director has numerous projects in development, including "What Happens at Night," a crime film starring Dwayne Johnson, "The Life of Jesus," and others.<\/p>\n
