No fue una decisi\u00f3n que tomamos a la ligera&quot;.<\/p>\n<p> La trisom\u00eda 21 es un trastorno cromos\u00f3mico com\u00fanmente conocido como s\u00edndrome de Down.<\/p>\n<p> Ridgeway dijo que cuando se enter\u00f3 del diagn\u00f3stico, al principio se sinti\u00f3 &quot;conmocionado, pero optimista&quot; y crey\u00f3 que la familia ser\u00eda capaz de adaptarse.<\/p>\n<p> Seg\u00fan informa la publicaci\u00f3n <em>Gente<\/em> , \u2014a\u00f1adi\u00f3\u2014, si est\u00e1n un poco atrasados en su desarrollo intelectual, nos las arreglaremos de alguna manera.
