June 2 (UPI) -- Apple TV is gearing up to release Season 3 of Silo.
On Tuesday, the streaming service released a trailer for the new season, in which Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliet Nichols.
«Silo is a sci-fi drama based on the book series by Hugh Howey. The series follows the inhabitants of a giant underground silo in a mysterious post-apocalyptic world.
The trailer shows Juliet (Ferguson) searching for answers as she struggles with memory loss following her forced "cleaning" in season two.
Viewers are also introduced to Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Daniel Keene (Ashley Zuckerman), a journalist and congressman who lived centuries earlier, in "pre-apocalyptic times.".

The pair "uncover a conspiracy that draws them into a chain of events with catastrophic, irreversible consequences," which serves as the backstory for the series.
Other cast members include Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandra Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Rick Gomez, Billy Postlethwaite, Claire Perkins, Jessica Brown Findlay, Colin Hanks, and Steve Zahn.

The third season of "Silo" premieres on July 3 on Apple TV. The series has been renewed for a fourth and final season in 2024.
