Legendary music producer Clive Davis has reportedly been hospitalised.

Clive Davis, founder of Arista Records and J Records, was hospitalized this week with an upper respiratory infection.

According to data TMZ , the legendary music producer who oversaw the early careers of Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, and many others, was admitted to a New York City hospital on Friday evening (May 29). A representative for the 94-year-old producer said he is expected to be discharged within 24 hours.

In 2021, Davis was diagnosed with Bell's palsy, a neurological disorder that causes temporary paralysis of the facial muscles. This diagnosis led to the postponement of the second part of Davis's annual pre-Grammy Awards party, one of the most coveted events of the year's biggest music night.

According to data Page Six , At the time of his diagnosis, music mogul Davis was undergoing antibiotic and steroid treatment and was expected to recover in no more than eight weeks. The 51st Clive Davis Grammy Awards Gala took place in February at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Jennifer Hudson, Huntr/X, and Olivia Dean performed.

In the run-up to the event, in an interview Billboard , Davis appeared healthy and told the publication he felt "energized and excited" ahead of the gala. Earlier this month, he attended the Gordon Parks Foundation's 20th anniversary dinner and auction in New York City.
