Sorry, Home Improvement fans. There will be no reboot of the incredibly popular sitcom, which ran for eight seasons starting in 1991 and starred Tim Allen as the funny, cheerful father of three.
Sources report Variety, Talks about reuniting the Taylor family had been ongoing for years. Patricia Richardson, who played family matriarch Jill Taylor, expressed willingness to return. However, obstacles arose in the way of the participation of Taylor's three sons: eldest son Brad (Zachary Ty Bryan), middle son Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), and youngest son Mark (Taran Noah Smith).
Original "Baywatch" stars Michael Bergin and Kelly Packard are joining the Fox reboot.
The creators of the TV series "Baywatch" received permission from the Coastal Conservation Commission for overnight parking.
«"They're constantly discussing how to move forward, but they're stuck because the guys have some character issues right now," Allen said in a recent interview. "They have their own issues. I always thought it would be great if this were a story about them. Right now, it's a little complicated, to say the least.".

Brian, now 44, currently faces a 16-month sentence in a California prison for drunk driving in 2024. Over the past several years, Brian has been arrested multiple times on DUI and domestic violence charges.
Additionally, a judge in Oregon recently sentenced Bryan to 19 months in prison in that state for violating probation for a domestic violence case committed in 2023. He will serve this sentence after his release from prison in California. He is also scheduled to be extradited to Oklahoma for sentencing on a DUI in 2024.
Meanwhile, Brian's on-screen brothers are no longer acting and haven't appeared on screen for many years. Smith's last acting job was a voice role in the 1999 series "Batman Beyond." Since then, he has pursued several business ventures, including working with the Community Submersibles Project, where he trained people to operate submarines.
As a teenager, Thomas rose to fame voicing young Simba in 1994's The Lion King, and also appeared in family films such as 1995's Head of the House and 1998's I'll Be Home for Christmas. However, his most recent Hollywood work involved Allen. Thomas appeared in four episodes of Allen's ABC sitcom The Last Man on Earth between 2013 and 2015, including one episode in which he reunited not only with Allen but also with his former on-screen mother, Richardson. Thomas also directed three episodes of the show.
Finally, in 2003, another actor, Earl Hindman, who played the Taylors' neighbor, Wilson Wilson, died. Wilson could most often be seen behind a fence (his face almost completely hidden), offering moral guidance and wisdom to Tim and the rest of the Taylor family.
While a full-fledged revival of the series is unlikely, the cast has reunited several times over the years. In addition to the previously mentioned episodes of "The Last Man on Earth," Allen reunited with several cast members in the second season of his current ABC series "Shift.".
In the first episode of season two, Richardson appeared alongside Richard Karn (Al Borland) and Debbie Dunning (Heidi) as participants in a grief support group. Sources say Thomas was also invited but ultimately declined.
If there's one thing Hollywood TV producers love, it's reboots of beloved shows. After all, nostalgia thrives, so in recent years we've seen actors return for new seasons of Will & Grace, Full House, Roseanne, Malcolm in the Middle, Scrubs, and King of the Hill. But as for the Taylor family, it seems they've finally ridden off into the sunset.
