Sadie Soverall is reportedly the latest actress to be considered for a role in Brady Corbet's increasingly buzzed-about new film, a mysterious "pornographic" epic that already stars Selena Gomez, Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender.
According to data Deadline , Soverall is being considered for the lead role in the project, which is rumored to be called «The Origin of the World» . Although her contract has not yet been finalized, sources claim the actress is Corbet's preferred candidate for the role. Representatives for Soverall and Corbet declined to comment.

The film remains under wraps, but Corbet has begun to reveal some details about what audiences can expect. Speaking at the Storyhouse Dublin Screenwriters Festival, the director described the film as exploring "American mysticism" and "the history of the occult in America.".
He also confirmed that the project is based on a 200-page script and described it as an "adult film" spanning several eras, from the 19th century to the present day, with much of the plot centered on the 1970s.
«"This film really challenges genre boundaries," Corbet said earlier, discussing the project.
Landing this role opens another important opportunity for Soverall, who is quickly becoming one of Hollywood's most sought-after young actresses. She recently landed the lead role in the upcoming television series "Every Year After," an adaptation of the novel «Every Summer After» , popularized by BookTok, will soon be released on Prime Video. The series is scheduled to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival and will be available on streaming platforms in June.
