The Sports Illustrated model and former New England Patriots cheerleader has been dating Rob Gronkowski for over ten years. They met in 2013 at a Patriots charity event. She was a cheerleader for Gronkowski's NFL team, where he spent most of his career. Now that they've been together since 2015 (they briefly broke up in 2017), she opened up about how she originally envisioned her life together.
«When I was 21, I definitely thought I’d be married and have kids by now, and sometimes I look back and judge myself—or even now,» she admitted in one podcast episode. Wag World , as People reports. "I'm like, 'Wow, I'm behind.'".
However, she reflected that while life doesn't always turn out the way you imagined, looking back on her journey in modeling and cheerleading, it's important to remember that there is no one right way to live and that everyone's journey is unique.
«"It's a reminder to myself and others that we're not destined to walk the same path," she says. "There's no book of life. There's no right or wrong way to live. Just let go and be kind to yourself.".
She adds: «What is meant for me will never pass me by – it’s such a wonderful feeling and such a wonderful reminder that I must always bring back to myself.».
Kostek also discussed how she copes with the pressures of being in the public eye and managing both her husband's careers. Ultimately, she believes engagement, marriage, and children will come when she deems it most appropriate.
«Overall, I believe this is the path I’m destined to take,» she concludes, adding, «I was in the right place at the right time, and I can’t wait to see how everything else unfolds.».
The model recently appeared in the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue alongside Alix Earl, Livvy Dunn, and others.
