The concert stunt also follows Perry's recent claims that she has found happiness again following her split from Orlando Bloom.

On the "Unfamous" podcast, the pop star admitted that her new relationship had brought significant changes to her life. "I have love in my life now. It's transformed me," Perry said. "Do you think it's a cliché when The Beatles say, 'All you need is love,'? Clichés are clichés for a reason.".

Although Perry appears to have come to terms with the situation, she acknowledged that her split from Bloom was far from easy. "I don't usually feel like a victim. It comes through in my songs, but last year was pretty tough," she said.

Instead of dwelling on the emotional pain, Perry said she decided to confront difficult emotions head-on. "It would have been easy for me to fall into this weird victim triangle. So instead of whining and complaining, I just thought, 'Let's just feel this pain, feel this anger, and move on. Let's also learn from this. Let's get some feedback from this.'".

The singer also said the experience helped her rethink her personal boundaries and self-respect. "You know what it's all about? It's really about boundaries within yourself, and if you boil it down to an even more granular understanding, it's simply self-respect. It's simply self-love," Perry explained.

Rumors of a romance between Perry and Bloom first surfaced in 2016, after which the couple briefly split in 2017. They reunited the following year and got engaged on Valentine's Day 2019. In August 2020, they welcomed a daughter, Daisy Dove. Since then, she has taken her daughter on tour with her, which she says has been an incredible experience.

«"It's always incredibly rewarding when I can bring my daughter to work," she said. "I think when mothers can be themselves and have maximum support, it's always a good example for their children. And I'm just thrilled to be a role model for my beautiful daughter—a strong, balanced, smart, funny, and slightly quirky woman.".

In another segment of the interview, Perry explained that much of her personal growth stemmed from her desire to set a positive example for her daughter. Reflecting on parenting, the singer said she believes children often learn most by observing how their parents cope with life's challenges.

«"I think as mothers and fathers, we just set an example for our children, and all we can hope for is that they grow up to be the best versions of ourselves and ourselves," Perry shared.
