This film, «"Rock"» , was directed by Michael Bay and starred Sean Connery (John Patrick Mason), Nicolas Cage (Dr. Stanley Goodspeed), and Ed Harris (General Francis X. Hummel).

Plot of the film «"Rock »" revolves around General Hummel's daring plan. He gathers a group of rebel Marines to seize Alcatraz Island, taking several hostages to keep his plan going.
