The fifth and final season «"Bear »" is almost here, and as with every year, it's always helpful to refresh your memory of the events of season four.
The final season of the series «"Bear »"The Restaurant," which premieres Thursday, June 25, on FX and Hulu, follows a restaurant on the brink of closure as the remaining team members attempt to win a coveted Michelin star. Will they succeed? As fans may recall, the Season 4 finale was marked by Carmi Berzatto's (Jeremy Allen White) shocking decision, informing Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) that he would be leaving the restaurant for good.
The chef who helped turn his brother's sandwich shop, The Beef, into a top-notch fine dining establishment by training staff including Marcus (Lionel Boyce), Tina (Lisa Colon-Zayas), and Fuck (Matty Matheson) has apparently decided it's time to leave the business, leaving both the characters and the audience shocked.

But has Carmi really given up? He's entrusted Richie and Sydney to take the reins, along with his sister Natalie (Abby Elliott), hoping they can turn things around. As fans will recall, fate «"Bear »" was hanging by a thread as Jimmy (Oliver Platt) helped keep the place afloat, as despite its technical success with customers, the restaurant was losing money due to expensive ingredients, limited seating, and an ever-changing menu.
It remained unclear how things would play out with Carmi's departure and Sydney and Richie taking over, along with Natalie, but Season 5 will surely provide some answers to this unexpected twist. Viewers should also be aware of the possibility of franchising The Beef, as Abraham (Edwin Lee Gibson) has been approached about expanding the restaurant's concept to include selling the original sandwiches.
