Exploring these characters' lives ten years later also means significant changes in their family lives, particularly regarding the children the women have brought together as parents of students at a local school in their Monterey neighborhood. "We're all 10 years older. The kids are 10 years older, too. They're not quite kids anymore, and most of them are adults," Woodley noted. "So that perspective is very interesting.".
