With the 2026 FIFA World Cup just a week away, a plethora of songs have emerged dedicated to the month-long tournament.
The soundtrack for this year's World Cup is "Dai Dai," the official FIFA anthem, performed by Shakira and Burna Boy. This uplifting composition, with elements of reggaeton and afrobeat, is part of The official album of the 2026 FIFA World Cup , which includes 18 tracks, is the largest musical project created for the World Cup.
The project, designed to unite fans around the world through the power of music and football, "invites artists from all continents, speaking different languages and representing different genres," FIFA President Gianni Fantino said in a statement.
Moreover, former Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho has released a stellar album Camisa 10 , which includes songs by Sean Paul, Justin Quiles, Luis R. Conriques, Lenny Tavares and many others, and which combines rhythms such as dancehall, Mexican music, cuarteto and piceiro.
Artists such as J Balvin, LISA, Carlos Vives, Jelly Roll, Grupo Frontera and The Rolling Stones have also embraced the trend of football-themed songs.
To further demonstrate the universality of both worlds, Billboard has compiled the definitive list of World Cup songs, including many tracks released in honor of this year's tournament.
For the first time in history, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held across three host countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Matches are expected to take place from June 11 to July 19 in 11 cities across the United States, three cities in Mexico, and two cities in Canada, with the final taking place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
