Deborra-Lee Furness and Hugh Jackman were once one of Hollywood's cutest couples, but after an alleged cheating scandal, everyone is eager to know the details. And it looks like Furness is getting closer to telling her story.
Rumors of a book deal began back in October 2025, when insiders told Rob Shooter of His Naughty but Nice Substack that she had allegedly met with booksellers about her memoir. They said, "She's reclaiming her voice. For years, she was known as Hugh's wife. Now she wants to be known for the truth.".

Apparently, the book will be published after all. Insiders recently told Closer Online UK that Furness may be ready to reclaim her image and tell the truth.
«"The book is a first step, but to justify the big money, Deb will have to tell everything, including Hugh's questionable behavior with Sutton and other instances where he wasn't entirely blameless," the insider said. "The paycheck is certainly important for her ego, but for Deb, the main goal in all of this is to regain control and reassert her role in this story.".
They added: "She spent years helping Hugh create this image of the perfect, devoted husband and all-around good guy, and now she's watching herself be completely erased from his life while he's out with Sutton. It might not have been so hard to deal with if they hadn't shoved their affair in her face while she was still trying to recover from her divorce... While she's not a vindictive person, it's infuriating. The truth is, she never got the chance to put this whole thing to rest.".

For those who don't know, Jackman and Furness married in April 1996 after meeting on the show Correlli a year earlier. They adopted two children: Oscar Maximilian, born in May 2000, and Ava Eliot, born in July 2005.
Unfortunately, the couple separated after 27 years of marriage and went their separate ways in September 2023. They have yet to formally file for divorce, presumably due to the lack of a prenuptial agreement. Jackman and Foster's relationship then allegedly began in 2022, when they worked together on the musical "The Musician"« on Broadway. They met more than ten years ago, in 2008, when they were watching «Shrek» on Broadway.
