We'll know a lot more about the breakup soon. Ariana Birman с Hudson McLeroy . Ahead of the premiere of the second season of the reality show Next Gen NYC Ariana made it clear she planned to air all the drama surrounding her breakup. She didn't hold back. After all, she grew up watching reality TV.
Bravo fans will see "many more details" about the breakup.
As a reminder, Ariana and Hudson announced their separation in October 2025 after three years of dating. At the time, Ariana said life was taking them in different directions, but Bravo had other plans. They greenlit a second season of Next Gen NYC, and both of them were cast.
Since filming began around the same time as the breakup, Ariana told Us Weekly that we'll be learning a lot more details about what really happened.
«"You're definitely going to see a lot more details [about our breakup]," she teased, adding that she "learned a lot" about herself in the process.
«"I really love sharing details, which can come back to haunt me. I'm not afraid of anything," Ariana continued. "So you'll definitely learn much more about the real reasons, and how this wasn't an overnight decision, but one I've been making for a year.".
The current state of Hudson and Ariana's relationship is unknown. Earlier this year, it appeared they were back together, but they haven't officially confirmed their relationship status.
Incidentally, Hudson told Us that he and Ariana "will always be close." But judging by what Ariana hints, the road to this friendly relationship wasn't entirely smooth.
«"I think there were certain moments where it was difficult, and you'll see that," Ariana said. "I wanted us both to still be involved, to be able to work together, to be able to spend time with friends. It wasn't a breakup like, 'I hate you, I'm never going to talk to you again.'".
«"At one point, I also felt a lot of anger toward Hudson and the situations we were going through," she continued. "I say exactly what comes to mind, and then I'm like, 'Oh, shit! My God, I can't believe I just said that out loud.'".
The second season of Next Gen NYC premieres Wednesday, June 24, at 9:00 PM/8:00 PM ET on Bravo. It will be available to stream the following day on Peacock.
