After demand for pre-sale tickets for BTS' upcoming Australian comeback skyrocketed, the global K-pop phenomenon has officially added another Melbourne concert to its already massive lineup. BTS World Tour 'Arirang'‘ . Yes, there will now be five stadium concerts in Australia.
As a new date, BTS will perform at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on February 10, joining previously announced Melbourne concerts and a series of Sydney stadium shows.
This means that ARMY actually analyzed the four stadium concerts and collectively said: With respect... this is not enough.
The extra show comes after overwhelming demand during the ARMY pre-sale, with fans rushing to buy tickets for what promises to be not only BTS's biggest Australian tour to date, but also one of the biggest world tours in K-pop history.
World Tour ARIRANG marks BTS's first full-scale joint tour since Permission to Dance on Stage , and this epic tour has already sold millions of tickets worldwide, in North America, Europe, the UK, Latin America and Asia.
Australia was already prepared for much of the action, and now Melbourne will get an extra night filled with glow sticks, stadium chants and heart-wrenching videos from fans.
For fans who want to watch the newly added series, there are a few important requirements.
Tickets for the additional Melbourne concert will go on pre-sale to Army members on Wednesday, June 3 at 10:00 AM (Melbourne local time).
Only fans who register in advance will be granted access to the queue. A valid GLOBAL ARMY membership number, beginning with "BA," is required to unlock tickets.
Translation: If your membership number currently only exists as a screenshot, lost somewhere in your photo gallery under 4,000 concert videos... now is the time to find it.
Tickets for all five Australian shows go on sale to the general public on Thursday, June 4 at 10:00 AM AEST in Melbourne.
