Viva Kids is releasing an underwater family adventure film. «The Last Whale Singer» On 350 screens, with approximately 701,000 screenings across AMC and Regal theaters, the film is directed by Reza Memari and co-written by Greg Nix. The film, created by musician, filmmaker, and surfer Jack Johnson and director Emmett Malloy, played to full or near-full theaters at several theaters, including the Regal Irvine, Regal Sherman Oaks, La Paloma (Encinitas), and the Laemmle Monica Film Center.
Johnson's evolution from surfer to filmmaker and musician, which began with making surf films with close friends in his early years, laid the foundation for a much broader creative life. Greenwich Entertainment presents Japanese animated drama «Jinsei» at the IFC Center in New York City. The world premiere will take place in the Contrechamps section of the Annecy Film Festival, and the North American premiere will take place at the New York Asian Film Festival. The film spans the century-long life and spiritual journey of the J-pop star, voiced by rapper Ace Cool, and is composed of ten chapters that take the protagonist through his school years, the music industry, and his idol status.
