DDG revealed that he spent a significant amount of money on his Blame the Chat tour.
Last week in the first episode The Tour show The popular streamer and rapper gave a tour of his Los Angeles mansion. Around the seven-minute mark of the video below, DDG explained that before his recent tour, he hadn't performed live in five years, which he believes is "bad for artists.".
«"Artists should go on tour once a year, once or twice a year," he explained.

The streamer added that during his first tour, he made $10,000 in just over a month, but lost between $100,000 and $200,000 during his last tour.
«"I spent too much money to make myself comfortable," DDG admitted. "I had two buses, I did a lot of things, but a lot of artists don't realize that when you go on tour, you don't make money. You start making money as you grow.".
DDG added that he went on tour simply to "get back into the swing of things" and detailed how he spends his money on touring.
«"Touring is all about traveling, moving people, and buses," he continued. "I'm livestreaming the entire tour. So I needed three security guards just for my own safety and comfort. I'm flying people, feeding over 12 people. So it all adds up quickly.".
While he admits it was a "lesson" that showed him he "could have saved money," he is more interested in "further expansion of the number of rooms.".
DDG's income appears to significantly exceed his earnings from music, as he revealed in a conversation with Akademiks at ComplexCon last year.
«"For the amount I signed, I earned 30 days on Twitch," DDG said, referring to his contract with Epic Records.
