There was never any doubt that Gia Giudice proud to be a daughter Teresa Judis . But the star reality show "New York's Next Generation"« Now she's forging her own path. She's ready for everyone to see her as her own person. That's why she's stepping out of the shadow of her mother, a contestant on the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and confidently stepping into the spotlight.
Gia has been incredibly busy over the past few years. She's often found herself in the spotlight, which is nothing new for her, considering she practically grew up watching The Real Housewives of New York City. Fans have watched her navigate her family's legal issues, support her mother through difficult times, and cope with the deportation of her father, Joe Giudice.
The Bravo star has focused her attention on building her own brand.
But Gia is all grown up now, and in a new interview with Elite Daily, she spoke openly about how she's ready for fans to recognize her as more than just the eldest daughter of the reality show star "Housewives.".
«"There have been so many important events in my life over the past year that have truly shaped me as a person and as a brand, not just as a mini-Teresa. I certainly don't take that as an insult; she's an icon," Gia explained, "but I'd like people to be able to see me as something separate from others.".
Therefore, she is focused on establishing her own name while maintaining a deep respect for her roots. After the successful first season of Next Gen NYC, she has achieved a lot on her own.
She launched her podcast, Casual Chaos, and won the fourth season of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test alongside Shawn Johnson. Gia joined Teresa but made it to the finals, despite her mother leaving first.
«"Everyone thought I'd be the first one out," Gia admitted. The experience truly inspired her to do things she'd previously found scary. She moved out of her parents' house and into her own apartment in Jersey City. And now she's focused on achieving new goals ahead of the second season of her hit series.
«"When I watched The Next Generation, I saw a mirror in it. I saw what I liked about myself and what I didn't," she says. Now she plans to be more calm. "I'll only look out for myself, let my friends work through their own problems, and talk to me when necessary.".
Indeed, Teresa's daughter has already grown up quite a bit!
