Simon Green has returned to the studio to record a new album, Bonobo. called Distance in Static , which will be a continuation album Fragments 2022. Released September 11th via Ninja Tune, the album features Arooj Aftab, Joy Crooks, Nilüfer Yanya, Ichiko Aoba, Nicole Miglis of Hundred Waters, and others. The album's title track, "Me and You," has become a hit in his recent club sets. Green will also debut a new live show as part of a series of North American dates beginning in November; listen to the song and check out the tour schedule below.
In a press release, Green said of the album's title: "I think the beginnings of what I do have now become something that appeals to younger people. I liked the idea of listening for a distant signal—trying to find something in the noise.".
After the release album Fragments Bonobo, along with Kamasi Washington and Floating Points, released a soundtrack for the anime series. Lazarus .
