Heavy metal band Danzig, fronted by "Evil Elvis" Glenn Danzig, have announced some surprising news regarding their upcoming activities.
The four-piece band, featuring frontman Glenn Danzig, lead guitarist Tommy Victor, bassist Steve Zing and drummer Carl Rosqvist, made a major announcement about their upcoming tour.
In an Instagram post, the band unveiled the schedule for their North American tour, which is scheduled to begin in September.
The seven-date tour will kick off with a two-night stand in Texas, followed by shows in Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, another show in Texas, and conclude in California.
To further increase the excitement, Danzig invited the pioneers of "satanic doo-wop" - Twin Temple group - as the main support group for all scheduled concerts.
To keep things interesting, the band also teased fans with a list of additional "special guests" set to join the tour.

Amidst intense touring, Danzig has announced that it has no plans to release new music or record new albums in the future.
«"I've always said that if I have something to say, I go into the studio and record it," the singer told the radio station. KOMP 92.3 FM , as reported Blabbermouth , adding, "I don't have much to say musically right now. I've released so many records, and all these kids—and when I say 'kids,' I mean people—are just downloading music instead of buying it. From a business standpoint, you can't make money from that because it costs a certain amount to record an album. And I'm not going to record something on Pro Tools in someone's living room.".
While a new album is unlikely, the frontman has expressed the opinion that if the band "has enough material soon, then maybe," but believes that it is "not a good business model" at the moment and is not financially feasible.
The band last released a studio album in 2020 - Danzig Sings Elvis , a tribute project dedicated to Elvis Presley.
