A choir originally formed by Jeremy Clarkson has been announced as the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2026.
The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir was set up by the TV presenter to support farmers around his farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, with mental health issues, and became the first group of its kind to win the ITV talent show.
Young magician Rafferty Coop from Hampshire finished fifth, also reaching the final.
After the group's win was announced, choir member Katrina Shell told presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly: "This is for all farmers, for anyone who is struggling, it's not a taboo subject, if you're feeling down, talk about it, this is for farmers.".
Before their performance, the choir members called Clarkson, who was in the audience during the live broadcast of the final, their "biggest fan" and added that they "can't thank him enough.".
Judge Simon Cowell said he had doubts about their decision to perform an original song, but told them it "paid off", calling it "absolutely stunning", "heartfelt" and "joyful".
They will receive a cash prize of £250,000 and the opportunity to perform at the annual Royal Variety Performance.
The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir is made up of farmers from all over the UK.
Fellow judge Amanda Holden burst into tears.
She told them, "You brought me to tears again, I couldn't be prouder of you, your harmony singing was beautiful, and watching the seasons change behind you and really thinking about every second you spend sowing dreams on this earth is one of the beautiful lines of this song.".
Anastasia's dog and salsa act took third place, while drone team Celestial finished second after a pre-recorded performance that recreated scenes from previous seasons of Britain's Got Talent using lighted drones.
Rafferty Coop's Golden Buzzer-winning performance was shown on ITV in March [Tom Diamond/Talkback Thames].
Coop was initially given a fast track entry into the semi-finals after referee KSI pressed his golden button.
His first performance was a combination of music and magic based on Journey's anthem "Don't Stop Believin'.".
