Jennifer Lopez is already planning to make fashion history again – in 2040.
As part of the promotion of his upcoming film «Office Romance» The 56-year-old superstar recalled one of her most unforgettable fashion moments: the green Versace dress with a plunging jungle neckline that she famously wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards.

More than two decades later, Lopez says the iconic dress is still an integral part of her life, and she's already planning its next big appearance.
On Wednesday, May 27, during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Lopez was asked about her outfit because the actress Mika Abdallah recently wore a replica Versace dress in a new hit romantic series «Off Campus» on Prime Video.
«"I have both dresses. If anyone remembers, I wore [the original] to the Grammys [in 2000], and then about five years ago we celebrated our 20th anniversary, and I still have that dress," the "On the Floor" singer recalls. "[ Donatella Versace ] made me a completely new dress. So I have both.".
When Kimmel jokingly suggested she'd have to wear a similar dress every 20 years, Lopez stood up to the crowd's cheers and said, "I'm making a promise right now. I'll wear it in 20 years. And it will look good. You won't dislike it.".

Although the dress has become legendary today, Lopez once revealed that her stylist initially discouraged her from wearing it because several other celebrities had already been photographed wearing it.
«"It was a dress that other people had already worn. My stylist said, 'Please don't wear it. Someone else has already worn it.' I said, 'Well, you bought it, and it looks great on me, so I'll wear it.' And so I did," the star of the film said.„ Wedding planner » Vogue magazine in February 2024.
