Kristin Davis and Tig Notaro join Emily Henry's romantic comedy universe.
According to Deadline, the actors have joined the cast of the film adaptation of the bestselling book. «Beach Read» . They will be joined by actress Phoebe Dynevor from the series «Bridgerton »" and Patrick Schwarzenegger from the film «White Lotus »", who will also star, as well as Andie MacDowell and Kevin Bacon. Filming begins in June.

Novel «Beach Read» tells the story of January Andrews, a romance novelist who suffers from writer's block due to grief after her father's death and his revelation of his secrets.
January spends the summer at her father's beach house in Michigan, preparing to sell it. There, she reconnects with Gus Everett, a fellow writer and her former college rival. Yulin Kuan, co-author of the screenplay for the film adaptation of Henry's novel« People We Meet on Vacation"» , will direct the film «Beach Read» for 20th Century Studios based on his own script.
