Los Angeles police announced Thursday that the son of actor James Handy's girlfriend has been arrested in connection with his murder.
Michael Gledhill, 44, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Police said officers responded to a radio call of "unknown trouble" in the 19200 block of Erwin Street in Tarzana, Los Angeles, around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday after the 911 caller said, "I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin.".
When police arrived at the scene, they found 81-year-old Handy unconscious in the courtyard of the home with a stab wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
According to authorities, Gledhill flagged down officers arriving at the scene, telling them "he's the one they were looking for." He was later arrested and taken to the Van Nuys jail, with bail set at $2 million.
According to police, Gledhill lives in the house with his mother.

Born in New York City in 1945, Handy began acting in films and television shows in the late 1970s.

What happens next?
It's unclear when Gledhill is scheduled to appear in court. Jail records don't list his attorney.
