Matthew Fox left Los Angeles for a good reason.

Recalling the move abroad, Fox said: «Our daughter was entering her teenage years, and I was on sets and traveling a lot, promoting the series. «Lost» . The father of two, who called his children "absolutely incredible" and said he was "so proud of them," continued: "When you're in this business, I think it's really important to find a place where you feel like you're living your life to the fullest. Fox said the move allowed him to discover "a lot of interests outside of acting," including music and aviation.
«"Flying is very important to me, and I spend a lot of time doing it. For me, it's almost meditative and therapeutic. It helps me organize my thoughts," he explained.

In March, Fox opened up about her life in Italy while appearing as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live .
When asked about his knowledge of Italian, the actor replied: "I'm gradually mastering it. It's a difficult language, but I'm learning it.".
In an interview with the publication Variety , In a March post, he also elaborated on how he's been focusing more on his family during his hiatus from public life.
