TV series actress «"This is us"» recently took part in the podcast "Not Skinny, But Not Fat" with Amanda Hirsch , where they discussed their pregnancies.

After Moore gave birth to two boys, August "Gus"« in 2021 and Oscar "Ozzy"« In 2022, the actress wanted another child.
«"To be honest, I did IVF," Moore told Hirsch of her third attempt to get pregnant.
«"I was incredibly lucky to get pregnant and carry both my sons to term… so I did IVF, but it was unsuccessful," she explained. "We couldn't get a single viable egg or embryo. So I thought, 'Okay, this is it. If it's meant to be, it'll happen naturally. If not, I'm so grateful and so happy with these two boys, and our family will be complete, if that's what it's meant to be.'".

But it wasn't Moore's destiny: "And then Lou was just meant to be," she said of her daughter, who was born in 2024. "She came completely unexpectedly. We didn't plan the pregnancy, but we were obviously open to it because of the possibility of IVF.".
Moore has previously been very open about the ups and downs of her journey to conception.
When she first tried to get pregnant, it took longer than she had hoped, prompting her to see a specialist who suspected she had endometriosis.
«"I was completely prepared for surgery to reconstruct my uterus and hopefully get rid of endometriosis, if I had it," Moore told the publication. Romper in January 2021, while pregnant with Gus. "It was nice to have a plan and understand, Why I still haven't gotten pregnant.".

«"Because of my uterine issues, I was very reluctant to believe it and didn't attach any importance to it," she explained at the time. "I kind of held my breath until 12 weeks.".
Unfortunately, this wasn't the only complication Moore faced on her journey to motherhood. She had also previously been diagnosed with thrombocytopenic purpura, an immune disorder "that can cause bruising and bleeding," according to the Mayo Clinic. This meant she couldn't receive pain medication during labor.
