Mandy is at her most elegant and effortless in this Rodarte silk crepe and velvet dress with a bow detail.
There's something slightly vintage about it, not in the sense of the costume or the fact that Rodarte often uses this design, and in the way that evening gowns once seemed effortlessly glamorous.
What really captivated me was the balance between softness and structure. Velvet can sometimes look visually heavy, but the flowing silk skirt kept the look from feeling too heavy, and the asymmetrical line where the fabrics meet added an extra touch of flair.
