Morgan Wallen experienced technical difficulties during his Still the Problem tour performance in Denver on Friday night (May 29).
While performing "Sand In My Boots" at the first of two concerts at Empower Field at Mile High, the 33-year-old country singer appeared frustrated at the piano because he apparently couldn't hear the instrument properly.

Morgan Wallen criticized celebrities who pulled out of a Las Vegas show at the last minute: "There are some untrustworthy people in this town.".
Wallen, wearing a Todd Helton Colorado Rockies jersey over a black shirt, matching shorts, and a backwards cap, suddenly stood up mid-performance while finishing an a cappella song, then returned and knocked over a piano. "Sand in My Boots" topped the charts. Billboard Country Airplay in February 2022.
Fans seemed to relish the candid moment, with many praising Wallen's solo vocal performance in the comments section of an Instagram post containing fan-shot footage of the incident.
«"The piano is unnecessary... leave it out!! It sounds better without it!!" one person wrote. "Imagine him performing this beautiful a cappella solo and all he can think about is knocking over that damn piano," another commented. "This man doesn't need any background music when he performs without sound. He's the best a cappella singer," a third commented.
As has become a tradition on the tour, the "Last Night" singer opened Friday's show by appearing on stage with legendary Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway.
The concert also featured opening acts Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock and Zach John King.
Wallen will return to Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on Saturday (May 30) for a second show. He'll then head to Pittsburgh for back-to-back concerts at Acrisure Stadium on June 5-6. The singer currently has several stadium shows scheduled across the United States through August.
Wallen is touring in support of his latest studio album. I'm the Problem , which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in May 2025. The album subsequently remained at the top of the chart for 13 weeks (with breaks).
