Netflix's head of film said the streaming service has "made peace" with the fact that it will not work with "filmmakers who still want to release movies theatrically.".

Gerwig's adaptation of the fantasy novel was originally scheduled to open in IMAX theaters on Thanksgiving and on Netflix on Christmas Day.
