Paul Rudd downed an entire can of beer in the middle of an interview. on Today , leaving Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones speechless.
On Friday, the presenters presented Rudd with a full pint of Guinness to celebrate the release of his new film. «"Power Ballad".
«"We gave you a Guinness because you were filming in Ireland, and you were working with a very famous Irish film director," Hager explained, referring to writer and director John Carney. "We heard you could split a G.".

«"Splitting the G" is a popular drinking ritual that involves ordering a pint of the aforementioned beer and taking the first sip large enough that the liquid perfectly lines up with the middle of the "G" in the word Guinness printed on the glass.
«"Want to try it right here on national television?" Hager challenged Rudd. "Okay, let's see if Paul Rudd can actually do it.".
Hager and Jones cheered as Rudd began to gulp down the liquid, but their delight quickly turned to shock when the actor film "Anchorman"« I overdid it and drank the whole glass to the bottom.
«"Oh my God!" Hager exclaimed, as the show's producers clapped and groaned in the background. "No, you didn't do that!"»
In response, Rudd simply raised his now empty glass and exclaimed, "I missed it! I missed the letter 'G'!"«
Both Jones and Hager were visibly stunned by Rudd's performance, the latter staring off-camera with his mouth wide open. "I've never seen anything like it in my life," Jones remarked.
Hager didn't know that either. "And I used to hang out with beer drinkers," she added.

Then Rudd gave the perfect response. "You know, honestly, I haven't had breakfast yet," he said, and Jones and Hager burst into laughter.
«"They say Guinness is the milkshake of beer, so hopefully you've got your daily calories...," Hager began, to which Rudd replied, "That's it. That's breakfast.".
Oddly enough, Rudd became second a man who drank beer in one gulp Today program This week, Carson Daly made a "shoey" and drank beer out of his worn-out shoe in front of Hager, Jones, Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie, and Craig Melvin during Wednesday's broadcast.
«"Next time I'm going to drink it out of Savannah's shoe and call it a 'Choo-y,' Jimmy Choo shoe," Daley joked later. "So I'll do 'Choo-y' and 'Choo-y.'".
He added: "Do you know what I have to do to stay with these wonderful, uncompromising journalists? Some interview presidents, others interview Shuya and Chuya. I have to earn a living, that's all!"«
