The official trailer, released yesterday, Wednesday, has garnered over 1 million views. Running 2 minutes and 12 seconds, it hints at the gripping and dynamic plot that awaits fans of the series.

The series, created by Jonathan Tropper, is based on the book of the same name by Marissa Stapley. Upon its release, the novel became a New York Times bestseller and was a Reese Witherspoon Book Club selection. Furthermore, the series marks Taylor-Joy's second collaboration with a streaming service, following "The Rift," in which she starred alongside Miles Teller.

Tropper serves as showrunner alongside Cassie Pappas. He also serves as executive producer through his company, Tropper Ink. Other executive producers include Pappas, Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter (Hello Sunshine), Taylor-Joy (LadyKiller), and Jonathan van Tulleken, who directed the pilot.

In addition to Taylor-Joy, the main cast includes Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanu Ellis-Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins Jr., and William Fichtner.
