Champions League Final: PSG vs. Arsenal. Radio 5 Live/TalkSport, starts at 15:00. For the first time in the UK, the Champions League final will not be broadcast free-to-air, meaning many British football fans who don't subscribe to TNT Sports or HBO Max will have to head to the pub to watch. Of course, we still have world-class sports radio as an alternative. Steve Crossman will host the broadcast on 5 Live, with John Murray and former Arsenal defender Matthew Upson providing commentary. Adrian Durham will be on TalkSport, with Jim Proudfoot and Stuart Pearce providing commentary. Kickoff is at 5:00 PM.
Colin MacFarlane, Christian Brighty, and Jessica Knappett
The Many Misdemeanors of Lord Christian Brighty. Radio 4/BBC Sounds, 11pm. The long-awaited return of the Regency drama parody, a madcap cocktail of «Bridgerton» , «Black Viper» и «The Naked Gun» (Although I warn you, it's often just as crude as the first one.) Christian Brighty and Amy Greaves' sitcom follows the philandering rake Lord Christian Brighty (well, if your name already sounds like a Regency rake, why change it?) and his clumsy and misguided attempts to atone for his past bad behavior. The highlight remains the ever-present comedic talent of Colin McFarlane as Brighty's prim butler, Mr. Churlington, though the show makes excellent use of the talents of a new generation of comedians (currently Jos. Norris and David Reid).

«Tracks of My Years» program» on Radio 2/BBC Sounds, 5 a.m. . Vernon Kay is in great shape right now. He recently invited Paul McCartney to his studio for recordings of the program "Tracks of My Years"« , and now he's joined by Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood (like McCartney, the Rolling Stones are promoting their new album). These energetic rockers will select 10 songs that defined their lives and share anecdotes and memories on air. There will be touching reminiscences about Muddy Waters, Brian Wilson, and Charlie Watts, and Sir Mick will reveal the moment he realized he was born to be a singer. For those who aren't early risers and don't use BBC Sounds, the selection will also be broadcast in parts on Radio 2 at 11:40 AM Monday through Friday. It's also available to watch on iPlayer today.

Aled Jones, Classic FM/Global Player, 10:00. Classic FM has made some changes to its schedule. Firstly, Aled Jones is moving from his weekend slot to replace Alexander Armstrong on weekday mornings. Armstrong himself is moving to Fridays with a new show called «Classic Spotlight» , which will feature both established and rising stars of classical music. Classic FM at the Movies with Jonathan Ross also moved back an hour to 6:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and Calm Classics program« with Mylene Klass will last four hours on Fridays and Saturdays, starting at 10:00 p.m. .

Actor Stephen Mangan and his younger sister, Anita, delve into the potentially complex topic of sibling relationships in three engaging, insightful, and hilariously witty episodes. In the first episode, the Mangans separate fact from fiction about older siblings: are they really smarter, more successful, and, in Stephen's words, "better"? The answer? Well, yes and no. Essay: Other Shostakovichs. Radio 3/BBC Sounds, 9.45pm. «"Name me a Soviet composer without hesitation," says Chris Addison at the start of this superb five-part miniseries about five of Shostakovich's overlooked Russian colleagues. And he's right. The series opens with the eccentric Nikolai Roslavets, a man who left the Moscow Conservatory determined to "completely rethink music—he didn't want to develop it, he wanted to destroy it and start over." His signature style was "synthetic chords"—a strictly academic and atonal musical system that Addison admits is beyond his grasp. Who says Radio 3 doesn't have challenging topics?

Works of Art: Allen Ginsberg's Last Soup. Radio 4/BBC Sounds, 4pm. A fascinating broth, and that's no secret, as Ian Sansom goes in search of the great Beat poet's final creation—a fish soup he made in March 1997, two weeks before his death. Fortunately, we know all about it thanks to Ginsberg's friends, Bob and Shelley Rosenthal, who tell Sansom why they were so sorry to throw it away and why it's buried in a field in upstate New York. It's not as frivolous as it sounds—Ginsberg's works are stained with the greasy footprints of a hungry gourmand. A delightful half hour.

The sixth season of the podcast dedicated to the wallets of the world's richest people features footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and film director Steven Spielberg. Today, however, it's the turn of Beyoncé, the pop star who once prophetically sang, "She's saving money, money everywhere she goes." Her music career is well-known, but journalists Zing Zeng and Simon Jack examine the singer's strategic and business decisions and question whether her uncompromising feminist capitalism is empowering or simply personally enriching.
Hidden Treasures: "Landfall" Radio 4 Extra/BBC Sounds, 2.30pm. This week, the audio "Aladdin's Cave" called 4 Extra features five rediscovered, forgotten BBC radio plays. Earlier this week, we had plays by R.K. Sherriff and Chris Allen, and tomorrow and Friday, we'll see the first-ever detective story of Brother Cadfael and a wonderful work by the great Welsh writer Emyr Humphrys. Today, it's «Landfall» — Nevil Shute's 1964 adaptation of the novel about an RAF pilot who gets into trouble after sinking a British submarine. Geoffrey Matthews gives a convincing and unsettling performance.

It's a gripping story that's a must-hear for all football fans. «The London Recruits, Radio 4/BBC Sounds, 14:15. A fascinating slice of recent geopolitical history, Gregory Evans's docudrama follows the adventures of two "London recruits" in the early 1970s. Annie (Jordon Stevens) and Peter (Fraser Wall) are naive white twenty-somethings outraged by the South African government's apartheid policies. When an ANC exile (Tristan Gravelle) offers them a chance to change the country, they eagerly accept. It's a gripping tale of espionage and idealism, with a witty voiceover from Nicola Walker as the older Annie.

«Sensation: Five Facets of Marilyn Monroe» (Radio 4/BBC Sounds, 13:45). In honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the blondest beauty, Ellen E. Jones's series attempts to uncover who Marilyn Monroe really was. It's no easy task, especially considering Norma Jeane herself was known to embellish her story. The five episodes, which began Monday, cover "Orphan," "Dumb Blonde," "Diva," and "Sex Symbol," and conclude today with "Tragedy." It's worth rewatching them all, if only for the superb interludes from Monroe's old friend, Amy Greene. "Oh, please... if you see a book about Marilyn Monroe that isn't written by Amy Greene," the 97-year-old woman croaks, "don't buy it. It's all nonsense.".

This five-part drama is from the series Limelight The BBC's "The Dark Knight" boasts a brilliant premise and a beautiful soundtrack (including original oud music), but what truly sets it apart is Mohamed Elsandel's brilliant performance. He plays Mo, a Sudanese courier from Cardiff who discovers a dead body while delivering pizza. Unwilling to get involved with the police, Mo runs away, but later finds himself embroiled in a gripping mystery. Screenwriters Eno Mfon and Darragh Mortell have crafted a thoroughly modern take on the detective novel.
