Approximately two and a half years after they shared a love for the same book, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have reportedly married. While the couple hasn't officially confirmed the news, multiple media outlets reported that they tied the knot in a private civil ceremony in London on May 31, and photos show the happy couple leaving the venue.
According to Vogue, Lipa opted for a classic look: a white Schiaparelli skirt suit, white gloves, matching shoes, and a wide-brimmed Stephen Jones hat. This outfit echoed the Yves Saint Laurent wedding dress Bianca Jagger wore to her wedding to Mick Jagger in 1971. Turner, meanwhile, opted for a navy blue ensemble, the centerpiece of which was a double-breasted suit.
The couple hasn't yet posted photos on their social media accounts, but The Sun obtained images of the newlyweds leaving the ceremony venue. The publication reported that only eight close family members and friends attended the ceremony.
According to the Daily Mail and local Italian publication La Repubblica, the ceremony will be followed by a much larger event next week – a three-day wedding celebration in Palermo, Sicily, beginning Thursday. Vogue reports that Simone Porte-Jacquemus will create Lipa's second wedding look. The guest list is rumored to include celebrities such as Charli XCX, Donatella Versace, and Elton John.
Despite their widespread fame (Lipa has won three Grammy Awards, seven Brit Awards, and numerous other accolades, while Turner has starred in a number of major film and television projects and was recently named by bookmakers as the favorite to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond), the London-born couple maintains a remarkably low-key relationship, rarely appearing in public. During a Christmas photoshoot on Instagram, Lipa was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger. The caption didn't mention an engagement, and the couple only confirmed the news six months later.
