Weaving gave an interview to PEOPLE magazine at the premiere of her new film,« Caroline Caroline"» , which tells the story of two lovers who commit a series of crimes.

34-year-old Weaving spoke at the premiere of her new film «Caroline Caroline» in Los Angeles that she once pretended to be a 35-year-old actress who played Barbie , after a fan mistakenly confused them during a walk.
«"I remember being at the airport. It was probably 10 years ago, and someone thought I was Margot," she recalled in an interview with PEOPLE. "I just couldn't tell them it wasn't me, so I took a picture with a fan and told them I was Margot.".
«"I don't know, maybe they looked later and thought, 'That's not Margot, that's some random woman,'" she continues. "So, yes, I could have looked at someone's phone and thought it was Margot, but other than that, no. I rarely leave the house.".

They are often compared online due to their striking resemblance to each other (as well as to fellow actresses Emma Mackey and Jaime Pressly).
However, Weaving and Robbie have something else in common: friendship. The two, who previously starred together in in the film "Babel"« , have supported each other over the past few years, including at the premieres of their films.
Weaving previously attended the film's premiere. «"Barbie"» in 2023, and the star «Wuthering Heights» reciprocated at the film screening «"Ready or Not 2: Here I Come"» in Los Angeles in March.
In March, the actress from the film «Eenie-mini» told PEOPLE how her friends, including Robbie, who welcomed a son with her husband, Tom Ackerley, in 2024, supported her in preparing for the birth of her first child.
«"Oh my God, all my girls who are moms here are so amazing, and I think they all tell me the same thing: 'Do what's comfortable for you. Do what works best for you,'" she said, sharing their pregnancy and parenting advice.
«"I think there are so many different voices and opinions in our society, and women, especially pregnant women and mothers, have a hard time. So everyone's been so supportive, and I think everything I want to do is good," she added.

In Weaving's new film «Caroline Caroline» , which also stars Kyle Gallner, tells the story of two lovers who commit reckless crimes in the American Southeast. Directed by Adam Carter Rehmeyer, the film previously debuted at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Film premiere «Caroline Caroline» will hit theaters on June 5, 2026.
