Billy Joel is (almost) as inextricably linked to Madison Square Garden as the New York Knicks, and in 2024, he completed his 100th concert as part of a series of performances with special guests Jerry Seinfeld and Sting. Fans who watched the concert on television may remember that the CBS broadcast was abruptly cut off midway through the song "Piano Man." The concert was later re-aired, but the televised version was still cut short.

The concert film is available on Blu-ray for $26 or DVD for $23 and includes 25 tracks.
Some of Joel's biggest hits, including "Uptown Girl" and "Big Shot," are included on the album but were cut from the original CBS broadcast and the Paramount+ version. In total, the disc features 11 songs not included in the broadcast, including "The Entertainer," "Don't Ask Me Why," and "Allentown." The tracklist also includes performances with Sting, including "Big Man On Mulberry Street" and "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.".
Joel retired from performing due to normal pressure hydrocephalus, a brain disorder, but in January he took the stage to perform "We Didn't Start the Fire" and "Big Shot" with cover band Turnstiles. His daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, said The Hollywood Reporter "He's undergoing regular physical therapy and is doing great," she added, "He's a real fighter, very resilient and determined, and he strives for health and an active lifestyle. He's a true fighter.".
Billy Joel first announced his residency in 2013, promising to perform at the iconic venue once a month "as long as demand lasts." Despite this modest promise, demand never waned. At his final, 150th concert, Axl Rose joined him for a joint performance of "Live and Let Die" and "Highway to Hell.".
