It is expected that «"Odyssey"» Christopher Nolan's film is set to be one of this summer's biggest blockbusters and features an impressive cast.
Matt Damon leads the ensemble cast as Odysseus, the legendary king of Ithaca, who embarks on a long and perilous journey home after the Trojan War. He stars alongside Anne Hathaway as Odysseus's wife, Penelope, and Tom Holland as his son, Telemachus. The on-screen royal family also features Hollywood stars, including Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Charlize Theron, Zendaya, John Leguizamo, and Elliot Page.
According to one of the actors from the aforementioned group, he was the only one who asked to read Nolan's script before signing on for the film. In a new interview for GQ Pattinson said that when Nolan called him and asked him to join to the Odyssey« , his reaction somewhat surprised the two-time Oscar winner.
«"I said, 'Yeah, I can't wait to read it.' And he said, 'Do you want to read it? Everyone else just said yes,'" Pattinson told the publication.

In the epic film adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic « Odyssey »" Pattinson plays Antinous, who aggressively attempts to take Odysseus' throne and marry his wife Penelope. «"I thought it would be cool to see that in Ithaca," Pattinson added. "And he's a bit of a slippery type. At the costume fitting, I kept saying, 'I really want leopard-print panties.' I want them to show under the skirt, a little bit of shiny fur.".
Pattinson also detailed how grueling the shoot of Nolan's latest film was, noting that while sitting in a hotel bar in southern Italy, he noticed the crew returning from filming looking "very exhausted.".
«"And that was only a third of the way through the movie," Pattinson explained. "I started filming about a third of the way through, and by that point they'd already been to two countries, and people looked… At the end of every day, people were broken.".

Although Pattinson's idea for leopard-print underwear will likely not make it into the final cut «Odyssey, The recently released trailer for the film showcases a gripping adaptation of the Greek epic.
