On Thursday, the channel officially announced TV series "Power: Legacy"« , the sixth season in the universe «Power» . The series stars Michael Rainey Jr. and Joseph Sikora, reprising their roles as their established characters, Tariq St. Patrick and Tommy Egan, respectively.
Rainey and Sikora debuted their roles in the first episode of the original series. «"Power »" in 2014. Tommy, the best friend of main character James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), appeared in every episode of the original series, while Tariq, Ghost's son, appeared in the first two seasons before becoming a regular character in seasons 3 through 6.

Both actors have gone on to lead their own spin-offs of the series. «"Power"» after the main series ended in 2019, Rainey played the lead role in "Power: Book 2: Ghost"« , which ran for four seasons from 2020 to 2024 and followed Tariq as he became increasingly involved in the New York drug scene. Sikora guest-starred in three episodes.
Meanwhile, Sikora was leading the series «Power Book IV: Force» for three seasons, from 2022 to 2025. In the series, Tommy launched a new criminal enterprise in Chicago. Rainey guest-starred in the series finale in November, where Tariq invited Tommy to "start something new" in New York.

Executive producer and showrunner Gary Lennon hinted that Tariq and Tommy might split up as they expand their influence in New York. "It will be incredibly interesting to see if these two can share the city, the game, and the intoxicating drug known as POWER," he said in a press release.

Besides «"Ghost"» и «Forces» , to «The Legacies series «"Power"» released two more spin-offs. «Power: Book III – The Education of Canaan» chronicles the early years of antagonist Kanan Stark, played by 50 Cent in the original series and Mekhi Curtis in this prequel. The fifth and final season is scheduled to premiere on June 12.

In another prequel series «"The Origins of Power"» , Spence Moore II and Charlie Mann will play young Ghost and Tommy, respectively, with Curtis returning to his role from TV series "Raising Kanan"« . The series' release date has not yet been announced.
