Violet Grohl has indeed inherited her daughter's traits. The newcomer with the famous surname made her television debut Wednesday night (June 3), appearing on the program «"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon"» accompanied by a full orchestra.

Grohl, looking calm, composed, and perfectly dressed for her late-night premiere in black, performed "Bug in the Cake," a song from the grunge rocker's recently released debut studio album.

The last few months have been very successful for Violet. She officially debuted on the Billboard charts earlier this year as a teenager (at age 19), when her song "THUM" peaked at No. 38 on the Adult Alternative Airplay chart. "THUM" was her first appearance on the chart. Billboard as a credited artist, although she also sang background vocals on the Foo Fighters' song "Show Me How," which peaked at number 21 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart in 2023.

She's 20 years old now and just released an album. Be Sweet to Me , an 11-track album released on Auroura Records/Republic Records. The album also includes the previously released "Applefish" and "595.".

Grohl, of course, is the eldest daughter of Dave Grohl, the singer, songwriter, and incredibly talented rock star who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with both Nirvana (2014) and Foo Fighters (2021).

According to the press release, the album's recording Be Sweet to Me took place from late 2024 to early 2025 at producer Justin Risen's home studio in Los Angeles with a group of musicians assembled "in the spirit of the Wrecking Crew session musicians of the '60s and '70s," whose work can be heard on classic recordings by artists such as Sonny & Cher, The Mamas and the Papas, Frank Sinatra and Harry Nilsson, among many others.

«"Everything was written in the studio," Grohl says of her new collection. "I'd come in with an inspirational playlist, we'd talk and listen for a bit, and then we'd start writing.".

In support of the project, she is embarking on a transatlantic tour, which continues tonight (June 4) with a sold-out concert at New York's Baby's All Right.
