Travis Kelsey is hinting at a possible name change for himself and Taylor Swift as their wedding gets underway.
Earlier this week, Kelsey liked an Instagram post from the podcast. Bussin' With the Boys , where hosts Will Compton and Taylor Levan discussed what would be appropriate for the Kansas City Chiefs star and pop star if they were to change their last name after their upcoming wedding. While in the US, women typically legally change their last name to their husband's, Compton and Levan argued that since Swift is "much more famous internationally," Kelsey should change hers.
They then debated at length between "Travis Swift" and "Taylor Kelsey," which struck them as striking names. Ultimately, the hosts decided on an alternative—a hyphenated version of both names, resulting in "Kelsey-Swift.".

While there's no word yet on what will happen with the name change, Kelsey did like the video.

One fan speculated about Swift's decision: "She'll keep the Swift name professionally, but otherwise might go by Kelsey.".
Taylor Swift hasn't shared her plans for her last name yet, but since she's built her career under the name "Taylor Swift," she'll likely keep her last name, as many artists do, and perhaps choose a double surname or legally change it to Kelsey.
Kelsey proposed to Swift in August 2025 after two years of dating. Last month, a source told Page Six that the couple would marry on July 3 in New York City.
The couple is enjoying their time together and recently enjoyed several romantic evenings in New York City. They dined at Sartiano, an Italian restaurant in the Mercer Hotel in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood. Their courtside date went viral during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
